ADA MARIE BAKER ANDERSON

1913-1991


Mrs. Ada Marie Baker Anderson 78, of the Blackman community, who died Wednesday aft Middle Tennessee Medical Center, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Jennings & Ayers Chapel, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The Reverends Richard Whaley and Carl Connelly will officiate.


A native of Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late John William and Emma Dora Barrett Baker.

Her husband, the late Richard Anderson Sr., died in 1985.


She was also preceded in death by a son, Hiliary H. Anderson, who died in 1970. She is survived by five sons, Arthur L: "Bud" Anderson, Norman Anderson, both of Blackman, Richard "Andy" Anderson and William Anderson, both of Smyrna, and Paul Anderson of Florida; one daughter, Dora Lee Chumney of Murfreesboro; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.

A member of Greenhill Baptist Church, she had lived in Rutherford County most of her life..
