Lillian was the daughter of Percy E. Morton and Ida B. Richards, who married on 16 Jan 1916 in Asbury, NJ. She was also known as Ida Heath, the surname coming from her great aunt with whom she was living in St. Petersburg in 1930. She married Archie Adams on 21 Jun 1940 in Manhattan and they divorced in 1957 in Pinellas County; they did not have children.

She and her mother, Ida B. (Richards) Morton Gross were owners of the I. B. Gross gift shop in St. Petersburg for a number of years.

ADAMS, LILLIAN H., 82, of St Petersburg, died Wednesday (Sept 8, 1999) at Carrington Place Convalescent Center.

She came here in 1932 from her native Asbury Park, NJ. She retired in 1972 as owner-operator of I.B. Gross gift shop in St Petersburg, having also had a store in Wildwood, N J., from 1972 to 1987. She was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church.

Survivors include a brother, Robert E. Morton, Brick, NJ. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg.
