David Wright
David Wright, 47 of Old Town passed away Friday, June 22, 2007 in Dixie County, Florida. Mr. Wright was born August 21, 1959 in Dade City, Florida to the late Eugene Victor and Louise Blanche Wright. He moved to Dixie County 20 years ago from New Port Richey, Florida. Mr. Wright was the transportation coordinator for the Dixie County School System for the last 16 years, he was actively involved with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He was very active in the First Baptist Church of Cross City were he served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher and many other programs in the church.
Mr. Wright is survived by his loving wife, Donna Wright of Old Town; one daughter, Donita Elizabeth Wright of Old Town; one son, Captain David Adam Wright "USAF" of Bonaire, Georgia; sisters, Donna (Warren) Baldwin of Henderson, Tennessee and Debbie Wright of Ocala, Florida; one brother/father, Wayne (Karen) Wright, Sr. of Old Town; sister-in-law/mother, Judy (Bob) Barker of New Port Richey, Florida; nephew/brother, Wayne Wright, Jr. of New Port Richey, Florida, and the many nieces and nephews that he dearly loved.
Funeral services for Mr. Wright were conducted Wednesday, June 27th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church in Cross City with the Reverend Steve Liles and Reverend Mike Brown officiating. Interment followed in the Cross City Cemetery.
Arrangements were placed in the care of Daniels Funeral Homes ad Crematory, Inc. of Branford, Florida.
