2nd Lieutenant Leo Adams-Acton was in the British Army and had been a member of the UN Partisan Forces Korea (UNPFK). He was captured in December 1951. He eventually escaped, but was re-captured after 4 ½ weeks on the run and placed back in Chong Song.

2nd Lieutenant Adams-Acton was executed by the Chinese in July 1953, the very month that the Korean War ended.

In memory of Lt. Leo Samuel Adams-Acton, MC attached to the American Special Forces. He was executed by Communist Troops while trying to escape as a Prisoner of War."
