She passed away September 28, 2010 at the Sac-Osage Hospital in Osceola, Missouri. She married Leo Casey on May 1968 and they had 4 children, Ward Allen, Shawn, Shayne and Athena. On October 7, 1978 she married Jerry Peterson and they had one daughter, Jeri Lyn. Della spent most of her life in the St. Clair County area working in care facilities and loved being involved with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Donna and Billy Woods; her granddaughter, Angel Marie and her grandson Jimmy Lee.
Della is survived by her 5 children, Ward Allen of Lowry City, Missouri, Shawn and wife Cindy of Lowry City, Missouri, Shayne of South Carolina and Jeri Lyn and Joseph of Lowry City, Missouri; 12 grandchildren, Amanda of Bolivar, Missouri, Krista, Steven, Kaira, Kaylene and Kelby of Lowry City, Missouri, AnnaBelle of Marshall, Missouri, Chasity and Darren of South Carolina, Keeton, Kenton and Lynexxa of Lowry City; 6 sisters, Jackie and husband Larry Cutler of Lowry City, Missouri, Fairen Coleman of Lowry City, Missouri, Glindell and husband Bob Price of Osceola, Missouri, Naressa and husband Ed Veach of Osceola, Missouri, Cleta and husband Mike Clark of Lowry City, Missouri Taloa and husband Johnny Culbertson of Lowry City, Missouri. Harvey and wife Carolyn Woods of Roscoe, Missouri, along with many nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
