Leonard Giddings, a native son of Ellensburg, passed away at his home Monday at 11:45 o'clock following a short illness with acute pulmonary labor pneumonia. Mr. Giddings had partaken of his supper earlier in the evening and it was not until an hour before his death that the seriousness of his condition was realized.
Mr. Giddings was 23 years of age and had been married for seven months. He was born in Ellensburg on April 29, 1911 and had spent his life here. Besides his young bride he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lou Giddings of Thorp; four sisters, Mrs. William Brown, Dalkena; Mrs. S. Harrington, Ellensburg; Mrs. Arthur Page, Thorp; Maggie Giddings and four brothers, Myron, Richard, Donald, and Frank. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the Honeycutt Chapel.
