Lonas Gossett, age 59 of Pikeville, died Thursday, January 2, 2020 with family by his side. Lonas was a hunter and a fisherman when he was not farming or working at Tecumseh, where he worked for fifteen plus years.
Preceding Lonas in death were his parents, Oscar and Frances Thurman Gossett; brothers, Marlin and Thomas Gossett.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Mary Boring, Glenda (Steve) Miller, and Ruby Rhea; brother, Charles Gossett; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of friends.
A celebration of life will be 10:00 am CST Monday, January 6, 2020 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jimmy Williams officiating. Burial will be in Dunn Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4:30-9 pm CST Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Pikeville Funeral Home. .
