Virginia “Sue” Barber Fales passed over to the Lord’s Kingdom on December 16, 2019 at the age of 65. “Sue” was born on June 16, 1954 to Ben and Mary Barber. She graduated Dixie County High School in 1973 and went to work at General Electric in the Aerospace Battery Division for 17 years. She went back to school and earned a license to sell insurance and worked for Independent Life. She also worked for Suwannee River Economic Council serving seniors citizens in Dixie, Gilchrist and Levy Counties.

Sue was a gator fan through and through. She got addicted to PBR Bull Riding later in life and was truly excited when she read that some local boys were moving up in the ranks. She loved to ride in the woods and fish on the Gulf of Mexico. Sue was active in the Florida Peace Officers Association Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed shooting Bullseye Pistol Competition.

Sue is survived by her mother and father Ben and Mary Barber of Old Town, Fl, her Husband James “Jim” Fales of Old Town, Fl, her Daughters Felicia Corbin (Jay) of High Springs, Fl. Mary Moseley (Michael) of Wellborn, Fl. Grandchildren Jude and Olivia Corbin, Logan (Dakota), Jonathan and Henry Moseley and an expectant Great Granddaughter Nova Sage. Sisters Carla Downing (David), Cindy Barber, Kathy Barry (Tony), Brother Ben “Buddy” and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
