CHARLES J. PORTER; LOWELL - Charles J. Porter, 68, died Wednesday at a Lincoln hospital after a short illness. He was born at Burlington August 2, 1893, son of Samuel and Mary (Curtis) Porter. He was a member of the Men's Club of Burlington. He is surviced by his widow, Ruth (Drake) Porter; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Fitzgerald of Lee, Dale Hope Porter of Lowell; two sons, Samuel T. and Lynn L. both of Lowell; two sisters, Mrs. Kirk Fogg of Burlington and Mrs. Hope Shorey of Enfield; two brothers, John of Lowell and Clarence of Connecticut; four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Barton Funeral Home, Lincoln, Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Lowell Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
