Mrs. Anna Rachel Beard, 56, of 104 Lewis Avenue, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday at Boehne Hospital where she had been a
patient since Thursday. She had been sick the past three years. Mrs. Beard was a native of Newburgh, Indiana. Surviving are the husband, Cyril Leighton Beard, two sons,
Glenn Morton of Evansville and Marvin Morton of Owensboro,
Kentucky, a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Holst of Evansville, a brother, Kenneth Woods of Evansville, two sisters, Mrs. Dora
E. Wedding and Mrs. Marjorie Vaughn, both of Evansville, and
13 grandchildren. Friends may call after noon Friday at Boone Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at
the funeral home. The Rev. Richard Schwambach will officate.
Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
