Mr. Kitts, who was 52 and lived in Livonia Michigan, was a sales executive with Colony Chrystler-Plymouth in Plymouth Michigan. He previously had been with several other auto dealerships and worked for 15 years for the old Detroit times.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during World War 2, serving on Iwo Jima.
Survivors include his wife, Janet; two children, Mrs. Candace Sawicki and R. Lee Kitts; his mother, Mrs. Mabel Kitts and a brother James Lee Kitts.
