Joe served in the military with distinction before returning to civilian life. He was employed by J.P. Morgan Chase and was a former employee of Discover Card Services. Joe enjoyed computers, reading, swimming, and spending time with his family and friends.
His father, James Ankrom Sr., and brother John precede him in death. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Ankrom of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Julie Ankrom of Columbus, Ohio and Catherine Anderson (Alan) of Cana, Virginia; and brother, James Ankrom Jr. (Tina) of Galena, Ohio; as well as nieces and nephews. A private service for immediate family only will be held, with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, Joe's family requests a donation to a charity of your choice, or to the American Diabetes Association. Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, Worthington is entrusted with the handling of arrangements.
