Harley Adams, 63 of Harts, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at his residence.

Born September 10, 1949, in Harts, he was a son of the late Dewey and Letie Adams. Also preceding him in death were three brothers, Oscar, Nim and Charlie Adams, and one sister, Allie Wells.

Harley was a Vietnam veteran, and a member of the Hoover Church of Jesus Christ. He served with the Main Harts Volunteer Fire Department for several years and enjoyed being in the hills, his dog Dazee and going to Pickin in the Park. Harley also enjoyed it when visitors came to sit and talk with him and using his Stihl chainsaw and spent many years trying to teach his son how to cut as good as him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Bonnie Sue Adams; one daughter, Tammy Sue (Ed) Adams of Harts; one son, Harley Dale "Bo" Adams of Harts; one sister, Eveleen Adams; three grandchildren, Brandon Lee, Dustin Edgar and Cannon Dale Adams, and one great-grandchild, Dalton Lee Adams. Harley was loved by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, friends and many others.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, February 16, at Freeman Funeral Home with Strylin Robinson officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Farley Cemetery at Harts.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, February 16, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Hoover Church of Jesus Christ, 8130 Main Harts Road, Harts, WV 25524.

Pallbearers will be family.
