AIRVILLE Roy Dean Lane, 56, died Friday, July 6, 2007. He was the husband of Joan Diane (Jones) Lane, who died April 2, 2006. Mr. Lane was born in Airville, on March 14, 1951, a son of the late N. David and Patty M. (Boothe) Lane. A lifetime York County resident, he was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran. Roy worked at various locations through the Laborer's Union Local #1180, Harrisburg. He is survived by one daughter,Melanie A. Reynolds of Culloden, W.Va.; four brothers, James Lane of York, Ronald Lane of Airville, Richard Lane of Felton, and Glenn Lane of York; two sisters,Edna Pepler of York and Rachel Sarti of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; one half sister,Mary Ellen Lewis of Edgewood, Md.; and two grandchildren, Ashley and Colby Reynolds of Culloden, W.Va. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta. Interment with military honors will be in Welcome Home Cemetery, Airville.
