William Albert Allenby Noonan was the son of Joseph John Noonan and Maude Lillian Easdown.

He was a Roman Catholic employed in 1941 as a Mill Hand. He served his country during World War II in the Australian Army Medical Corps where he lost his life in Borneo. His brother George also died in Borneo while in the POW Camp there along with 2000 other Allied Prisoners of War.
