Lyman Underwood, aged 25 years. passed away at the home of his mother, Mrs. Mary Underwood, at Lawton, Sunday, February 24, at 2:40 p.m. of tuberculosis, from which disease he had been a sufferer for about eighteen months. He had the flu and from this pneumonia set in and he lived but a short time.
The funeral was conducted Tuesday, after which the remains were laid to rest in the home cemetery. He leaves to mourn his death a loving wife, who ever stood by his side; a mother, three sisters, Ella, Nannie, and Olive, all at home; four brothers, Clayton and Clifford, at Niles, Ohio; Paul of Olive Hill, and George, who is at home.
