Joshua Ryan Zech, 16, of Mount Clemens, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007. He was born Aug. 4, 1990, in Mount Clemens.
Joshua was a student at Riverside Academy and had recently started working with a roofing company for the summer. He had a passion for skateboarding, a talent for art, especially drawing, and enjoyed his Playstation.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy of Mount Clemens; father, Timothy of South Carolina; brothers, Michael and Christopher Zech; half sisters, August and Jodie Zech; half brother, Logan Zech; step-brothers, Joshua, Justin and Jordan Lacey; maternal grandfather, Jack Martin; paternal grandfather, Charles Zech; and nephew, Keegan.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Joan Martin; and paternal grandmother, Gladys Zech.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main, Mount Clemens, with the Rev. David Ledbetter of First Baptist Church of Mount Clemens officiating. Cremation will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Detroit.
