She was born Nov. 7, 1923, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Harley Ray and Grace Beckner Thomas. She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School class of 1941. Betty had worked as a secretary for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., Stout Memorial United Methodist Church and the Wood County Prosecuting Attorney. She was active as past Worthy High Priestess Bethany White Shrine, (OWSI), member of Patrol of Bethany White Shrine, past Royal Matron of the Amaranth 5, member of Chapter 14 Order of Eastern Star and a member of Stout Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Upper Room Class, the Rebecca Circle and Altar Guild.

Surviving are her children, Kathryn Ann Lovell (J. Stephen) of Morgantown, W.Va., Thomas Edward Lincicome (Angie) of Seminole, Fla., and Carl Ray Lincicome of Pinellas Park, Fla.; her grandchildren, Douglas Scott Lovell of Morgantown, Kristen Rae Morgan (Aaron) of Janesville, Wis., Brittany Grace Lincicome of Seminole, Fla., Ashley Nicole and Liam Eugene Lincicome of Ingles, Fla., and Hunter and Bryan (Kim) Vickers of Pinellas Park, Fla.; her great-grandchildren, Matthew Douglas and Emily Kathryn Morgan of Janesville, Wis., and Thomas, Neil, Austin and Taylor Vickers of Pinellas Park, Fla.; two sisters, Helen Sandy and Mabel Matheny of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Eugene Edward Lincicome.
