It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Renee Brown (Hammond, Louisiana), born in Robert, Louisiana, who passed away on August 25, 2019, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Andrew Bennett III and Alice Harper Bennett; her brothers, Joseph A. Bennett, Jr. and Glenn W. Bennett.
She is survived by : her son Elery "Pete" Clement III; her daughter-in-law Peggy "Jenese" Clement; her brother Charles Edward Bennett; her nieces and nephews, Joseph "Woody" Bennett III, Benjamin Bennett (Jessica), Paul Stewart (Michelle), Brett Stewart, Desiree Forsyth (Scott), Crystal Varnado and Amanda Santoyo; her significant other Millie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o St. Joseph Catholic Church P. O. Box 368 Ponchatoula, LA 70454. A reception will be held on Thursday, August 29th 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home (2000 N Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 29th 2019 at 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel - Hammond.
