Born in Columbia, he was a son of John Alexander and Miriam Stokes Abercrombie, Sr. He was a part-time employee of Bi-Lo, a mason and a member of Shandon Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his parents; two daughters, Misses Lis and Kelli Abercrombie of Columbia; and a sister, Mrs. Lyn Cooper of Cayce.
Services will be held at 3:30 p. m. today at Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel conducted by the Rev. William H. Boyd. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Harris, Jimmy Jones, William Austin, Boyd Craft, Ronald Cooper and Doug Bearden.
