Carmella Adams, 95, passed away on August 3, 2019. Carmella was predeceased by her husband, James “Walt” Adams; great-grandson, Tony DeRienzo; grandson, Frank Hodgetts; and 13 siblings.
Surviving is daughter, Carol Hodgetts; sons, James (Sharon) Adams and Walt (Kelly) Adams; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Carmella was the youngest child of Maria and Louis Christino. She was very proud of her Italian heritage and greatly enjoyed making her family favorite meals.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Crouse Community Center in Morrisville for the excellent care and comfort given to Carmella.
Calling hours will be Thursday, August 8, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Farone and Son Inc., 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
