Umberto “Albert” Antinarella, 78, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday.
Born in Popoli, Italy to the late Cesare and Giovanna Antinarella, he immigrated to the U.S. in 1956. He began working at Consolidated Industries in 1963 until his retirement in 1997. Albert was an artist, he enjoyed drawing and oil painting.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Rena; step-daughter, Crystal Gardener; step-granddaughter, Shian Gardener; a sister, Maria Fusco; two brothers, Arnoldo (Rita) Antinarella and Marco (Nancy) Antinarella; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 31 from 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, N. Syracuse. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 1 at the funeral home with entombment at the Woodlawn Mausoleum.
