Pauline Frances Eberline, of Strattanville, died in the Brookville hospital on Friday, May 29, at 4 p.m., following an operation for appendicitis. She was aged 16 years 7 months and 27 days.
The deceased was born in Strattanville on October 2, 1914, a daughter of F.A. and Tillie (Lintz) Eberline. Besides her parents, she is survived by two brothers and two sisters- Wayne P., and Albert M. Enterline, of Brookville; Mrs. Biers, of Santa Monica, Calif., and Catherine, at home.
On Tuesday, May 26, the deceased had graduated from the Strattanville high school, Class of '31. Her untimely death is sincerely mourned by a host of friends.
Funeral services were held on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Methodist Episcopal church, Strattanville, with her pastor, the Rev. Mr. Timmis, officiating. Interment was in Strattanville cemetery. Pallbearers were classmates of the deceased.
