GREER - Mrs. Lula Lister Dill, 62, of the Oneal section died at 6:30 o'clock this morning in a Greenville hospital, following an illness of 12 days.
She was the widow of the late Ezias Dill who died 10 years ago. She was the daughter of Mrs. Sallie Childress Lister and the late William Lister. She was a member of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist church.
Surviving are four sons, J. P., Frank, W. B. and John Dill; three daughters, Mrs. Fred Stokes, Mrs. Louie Stokes and Mrs. Miles Crain; her mother, Mrs. Sallie Lister; one brother, Jack Lister; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Newsome, Mrs. Pearl Owens, and Mrs. Mamie Southerland, and 24 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Mt. Lebanon Baptist church, conducted by Rev. W. A. Loudermilk, assisted by Rev. A. P. Jones. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The following nephews will be the active pallbearers: Herman Lister, Leon Southerland, Archie Owens, Gather Forest, Donald Fleming and Louie Lister. The deacons of the Mt. Lebanon church, together with H. I. Edwards, Jim Hammond, Street Poole, James Rollins, T. J. Crain, Paul Stokes, J. A. Stokes and Charlie Crain were requested to meet at the church to serve as honorary pallbearers.
The body is at the home.
