He was a member of Macy Christian Church.
Surviving are his parents, Logansport; two brothers, Stephen Sherman and his wife, Lowella, Macy, and Earl R. Sherman II and his wife, Lorinell, Logansport; one sister, Mary Margaret Sherman, Logansport; two nephews, Justin Sherman and Nicholas Sherman; four nieces, Megan Sherman, Anne Hirschler, Amanda Sherman and Jessica Sherman.
One sister, Christina M. Sherman, preceded in death.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday in the funeral chapel.
