Daniel Randolph Herring, 78, passed away June 17, 2019 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Known to family and friends as "Dan", he was born on September 28, 1940 being one of six children born to Maurice Herring and Ila Orie (Murrah) at the family homestead in Webster County, Mississippi. He enjoyed being able to visit many different places traveling the world for his job. Dan was an underwater welder for many years before his retirement. He maintained his home in Channelview, Texas which was always home to him throughout his travels. Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Herring and Ila Orie Hicks; brothers and sister, James Lee Herring, Daurice Beth Herring, Donald Herring, and Ronald Herring. He is survived by his brother, Hugh "Pat" Herring; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Services are pending at this time.
