Of the inner Temple, Barrister at Law
Also of MARGARET his beloved wife.
He was the only child of the Revd. WILLIAM
STORY of Hinton Martell Co. Dorset & of
BRIDGET the daughter of ROBERT PROWER
M.D. of Cranborne in that County and of
FRANCES his wife.
He died on the 15th of May MDCCCLXXIX
Aged 88 years.
His wife MARGARET was the sole daughter
& heir of the Revd NEVIL MASKELYNE D.D. F.R.S.
Astronomer Royal and his wife SOPHIA
Daughter & heir of JOHN ROSE of Cotterstock
In the County of Northampton and of the
Island of Jamaica Esq.
She died on the 15th February MDCCCLVIII
In the 73rd year of her age.
They lie buried together with her parents
In the vault adjoining this aisle."
