DEE WAYNE MASON
Dee Wayne Mason, son of Bert Everett and Vera M. Mason, was born in Elmer, Macon County, Missouri on Jan. 4, 1911. He passed away Sept. 5, at the age of 45 years, 8 months and 1 day.
At the age of seven he moved with his parents to Indian Grove where he resided until his death.
Mr. Mason was married on Nov. 18, 1932 to Hildru M. Kuhler and to this union was born one son, Dennis Everett Mason.
Besides his wife and son, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Leola Melton of the state of Oklahoma; and one half-brother, Eugene Mason of Chillicothe, Illinois. Both parents preceded him in death.
He was a member and Past Master of Eureka Lodge No. 73 and the Business Men's Club of Brunswick. At an early age he was with the Christian Church and was an elder at the time of his death.
Mr. Mason was engaged in a general merchandise business in Indian Grove and was owner-manager of the Dalton Elevator in partnership with Forrest Kendell.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Brunswick Christian Church and burial was in Dalton Cemetery.
