Vitezslav is the son of Adolf Abeles and Julie Katz, and brother of Josef Angert [Abeles], Alois, Theresia, Rudolfina, Kamila, Sofie, and Julius. He is the husband of Irma Riedl. He was taken from Prague to Terezin on 13 July 1942. On 15 October 1942, he was transferred to Treblinka, where he was killed.
