Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Frederickson Dickersbach, 87, who died Saturday at the home of Charles Ballain, near Imgoene, were held Monday at 2 o'clock p.m. at the German Reformed church in Imogene. Rev. J. C. Horning officiating assisted by Rev. James Pearson of Shenandoah. Pallbearers were Lew Kline, H.H. Hillyer, George Gee, Rush Kammerer, Lyle Bellewood, and G. T. Lester.
Mrs. Dickersbach was born in Germany in 1847 and came to the United States in 1865. She was married at Chilsworth, Ill., in 1869 and with her husband came to Iowa the following year.
She is survived by two sons; Fred Dickersbach of Malvern, and John Dickersbach of Imogene; two daughters Mrs. Lena Anderson of Malvern, and Mrs. Charles Ballain at whose home she died. Ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survives.
