Tee managed the offices of a number of independent oil producers during her working life, including Martin, Shelly & Thomas; Jack Watson/W.B. Osborn, Jr.; Rollis Wofford; Wynn D. Miller; George Musselman; and Cal Michelson/Enre Corporation. She was a longtime member and 1963 president of Desk & Derrick, an association of oil industry professionals, and an early member of the Petroleum Club of San Antonio. Following retirement, Tee served on the Board of the Visiting Nurses Association (1987 Volunteer of the Year) and worked with the San Antonio Conservation Society (25 year service citation, 1993). She was also active in the Women's Auxiliary of the Association of Former Special Agents of the FBI.
Tee was predeceased by her four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Telise Johnsen Berns and her son, Dr. Mark L. Johnsen; stepdaughters Linda Broughton Mendez, Sally Broughton Cutler, and Judy Broughton Gonzales; many nieces and nephews; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
A memorial service was held Saturday, August 23, 2008, 11 am, St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church, San Antonio.
Donations may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association, San Antonio Chapter or to the San Antonio Conservation Society.
