Mr. Kehoe was born in Elmira Heights, N.Y. He was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, the Virginia Beach Combers Kiwanis Club, the Retired Officers Association, the Hampton Roads Chapter of the Retired Officers Association, and the Cypress Point Golf and Country Club. He was also a Navy veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley B. Kehoe of Virginia Beach; stepdaughters, Pamela Lewis and her husband, Randy, of Greensboro, N.C., Joyce Eileen Johnston and her husband, Otis, of Swansboro, N.C., and Georgia Ann Sears of New Orleans, La.; two brothers, William Kehoe of Horseheads, N.Y. and Richard Kehoe of Pine City, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Kelly Lewis, Michelle Lewis, Katie Burbage, O.J. Johnston and Fletcher Johnston; and one great-grandchild, Brandon Johnston.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 16, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Danny Kesner presiding in the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. The burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday, 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 717 Tucson Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23462.
