Born April 26,1921, in Bloomington, he was the son of Terry and Mary Ann (Padgett) Trowbridge. He was retired from RCA, where he had worked in data processing.
He received a bachelor's degree from Indiana University and was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of First Christian Church, the American Legion and Monroe Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include one son, Brad Trowbridge of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Debbie Ferree of Bloomington and Jackie Drake of Ellettsville; and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jane (Stewart) Trowbridge; his second wife, Martha (Chandler) Brown Trowbridge; one sister, Juanita Pless; and one brother, Cecil Trowbridge.
