Raymond Clifford Wilson, 58, vice president of Little, Wilson and Deats, Inc., Pittstown, died at his home Monday, February 7, 1944.
Mr. Wilson, who had been in ill health for about a year following a nervous breakdown, took his own life by hanging in the cellar of his home, according to Lester W. Humphrey of Annandale, coroner, and Dr. I. R. Boothby of Clinton Dr. Boothby and the Clinton Fire Department Rescue Squad worked for more than two hours to revive Mr. Wilson but their efforts failed. Mr. Wilson had undergone an operation in the Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, last month.
Funeral services will be conducted from his late home this (Thursday) afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with the Rev. Donald Fletcher, pastor of the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church at Grandin, of which he was a member, officiating. Burial will be in Cherryville Cemetery under direction of the Holcombe Funeral Service of Flemington.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Maud Little Wilson, and one sister, Mrs. Dorothy A. Wilson of Saranac Lake, N. Y., and several nieces and nephews.
