JEANETTE PEINE ALLEN Jeanette was born November 2, 1917 in Houston, Texas. One of five children born to May and Wolly Peine, she graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1935 and was married for 44 years to Henry Alton Allen. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a long-time member of Bethany United Methodist Church and Director of its weekday school from its early days in the 1950's until her retirement in 1981. After her retirement, she became a regular volunteer at The Methodist Hospital and continued her service until 2003. She lived her faith through her commitment to her family, her church, early childhood education and her service to others. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Alton, and brothers, Louis Peine and Leon Peine and her sister Lorene Kaiser. She is survived by her brother, Walter Peine, her daughter, Judith Allen Nockolds, sons Alton Allen Jr. and his wife, Rachael Bergeron Allen; Quentin Allen and his wife, Anne Aschbacher Allen; her grandchildren Jennifer Moore and her husband Clifford Moore, David Nockolds and his wife Wendy Baron Nockolds, Jennifer and David 's father Coleman Nockolds, Emily Allen, Matthew Allen, Katherine Hodgson and her husband Daniel Hodgson and Mark Allen; her great- grandchildren Kaitlyn Moore, Kyle Moore, Cole Nockolds, Grace Nockolds and Claire Nockolds and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home Hunters Creek, 8303 Katy Freeway. Services will be held at Bethany United Methodist Church 3511 Linkwood Drive on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Graveside service will follow at Forest Park Westheimer. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Jeanette's name to Bethany United Methodist Church or to a charity of choice.
