M. R. Robinson was born in Cottonwood, Texas and came to the Texas Panhandle in 1925. He married Leonnie Campbell in 1906, she passed away in 1925. In 1931 he married Ozell Lively. He worked on farms and ranches all his life and died tragically at the age of 70 of an accidental gun shot. The gun, an aged 40-40 Winchester rifle with lever action, was defective. Mr. Robinson was loading the gun and it discharged, killing him.
