Born in Toronto, but raised in North Bay, she moved to Waterloo to study at Wilfrid Laurier University. Shortly after, she met her husband, Russel, with whom she enjoyed 43 years of marriage and raised two children, Alyson and Cameron. Cherished by her granddaughter, Kayleigh. Also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She pursued a long and fulfilling career at Wilfrid Laurier University, Cambridge Memorial Hospital and North Waterloo Farmers Mutual Insurance. She also took great enjoyment in cooking, gardening and photography.
Cremation took place. Visitation was held at St. James'-Rosemount United Church, on Friday, August 11th from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. and Saturday, August 12th from 12 p.m.- 1 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service, with a reception to follow.
