Mildred "Mickey" Louise Fields, age 90, a resident of Spring, Texas, a former resident of Polo, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Spring Creek Village, Spring, Texas.

Mickey was born the daughter of Floyd Hyder and Carrie Rose Phillips on August 26, 1928, in Polo, Missouri.

She was a 1946 graduate of Polo High School.

She was united in marriage to Arthur "Duane" Fields on August 26, 1949, in Caldwell County, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1987.

Mickey worked as the Director of Daycare at the Bammel Baptist Church in Houston, Texas, for many years.

She was an avid sports fan and watched every game should of the Houston Astros and Rockets.

Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday where all the family would gather at her home for great food, lots of love and laughs.

She was a much-loved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother known as "Meme". She will dearly be missed by all.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Fields and wife Pamela of Houston, Texas, and Stan Fields and wife Sherry of Kansas City, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Michelle Franuenhoff, Jason Fields, Autumn House, Mark Fields, Jordan Fields, Justin White, and Brett Boettcher; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane; and two brothers, Donald and Charles Hyder.

Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at 2:00 p.m.

A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri.
