ROSA MARGARET KEGLEY, of Waurika, Okla., was born to David and Elizabeth Painter on February 23, 1915, in Center Point, Texas. She passed from this life on Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at the age of 86.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2001, at the Waurika First Baptist Church, with Tim Bowen and Tommy Billings officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
Mrs. Kegley married George L. Kegley in Henrietta, Texas, on September 24, 1937. He preceded her in death on February 5, 1984.
She was a retired kindergarten teacher and a member of the Bethel Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church of Waurika where she had been a Sunday School teacher for many years.
She is survived by one son and his wife, Stephen and Deborah Kegley of Wichita Falls, Texas; and one sister, Helen Jensen of Abilene, Texas; two grandchildren, Stephanie Owens and Jonathan Kegley of Wichita Falls; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and nine brothers and sisters.
