"In walking the cemetery this morning looking for grave markers for Find-a-Grave photo requestors, I was informed by security that it is private property and no photography or filming of any kind is allowed.
Here's a quote: "Out of respect for the privacy and dignity of our patrons and our deceased brethren, and so as not to compromise the ability of our workers to perform their tasks, we do not permit picture taking, videotaping, filming, or visual recording of any kind."
In order to get the photo that you need, you'd need to call Martha in the Santa Clara cemetery office at 805-485-5757 (they're on Pacific time) and put in your request. She or another employee will go out and photograph the marker and mail and/or email it to you. There may or may not be a cost associated with this."
