Dorothy J (Krueger) Pendleton passed away Saturday March 9, 2016. She was introduced to Winston (Rusty) Pendleton at a Boy Scout Barn Dance and their romance endured nearly 79 years. Rusty was called to serve in WWII, after his return and the death of her parents, Dot and Rusty raised her two younger brothers.
They shared their love of music, flying, travel, the outdoors and many other adventures with their grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Dot’s life has been a full one, but most of all, it has been an example of a life lived with joy, strength, and love.
Dot was preceded in death by her parents; her son Steve; sister Mildred Kathryn (Krueger) Janes and brother George Henry Krueger.
She is survived by her dear devoted Rusty; a sister and a brother; many nieces; nephews; friends and loved ones , who are blessed with a treasure of Dorothy’s memories.
Visitation and memorial services were held Tuesday March 19, at Bethel United Methodist Church in Wildwood, Missouri followed with interment in Bethel Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory.
