Kristyn Abbale, 28, of Saratoga Springs, was last seen at Daiker’s Bar on 4th Lake at 1 a.m. early Sunday morning. At about 10 a.m. that day, Town of Webb Police were dispatched at the area of 4th Lake and Leisure Shores just south of Eagle Bay for a reported overdue/missing snowmobiler. Police snowmobilers were dispatched to the scene and a short time later Abbale was located deceased. She had crashed along the shoreline on 4th Lake, according to a press release from the Town of Webb Police. She was found about 2/10 of a mile south of where her family’s camp is located on the lake along Leisure Shores Road. Police determined she likely got disoriented and crashed between 1 and 1:30 a.m. into a dock in front of Lawrence Point and was ejected from her sled into a small group of trees. The preliminary cause of the accident was both unsafe speed and alcohol impairment, the press release said.
