Orin Kenneth "Kenny" Kendrick was the son of Thurman Andrew Kendrick and Ethel F. Hamilton. He married Bertha Lee Brown on August 4, 1945, and they had four children - Sandra Kay Kendrick (Byrd), Connie Faye Kendrick, Deborah Sue Kendrick, and Kenneth Lee Kendrick. At the time of his death from cancer, he also had two grandchildren - Wyneth "Wendy" Byrd and Troy Kenneth Byrd. He was buried close to his mother who had died at the age of 34 when he was only six years old.
