Robert L. "Bob" Gierus, age 75 of Medway, OH passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Heartland of Beavercreek. He was born on September 7, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio to Sigmund and Elizabeth (Clune) Gierus.

Bob retired from Chrysler Corporation after 30 plus years where he worked on the line and was a fork lift operator. He liked to boat, fish, camp and owned a farm where he enjoyed driving his tractor. Bob enjoyed flea markets and a good Long Island Ice Tea. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Bob is survived by his girlfriend of 39 years, Nancy Stephenson; a daughter, Roxanna (Tom) Harter; a son, Shawn Gierus; ten grandchildren, Brittney, Joe, Cody, Courtney, Zack, Cheyenne, Kelsey, Austen, Sean and Dakota; Nancy's children, Margaret and Angel; and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Burial will follow the services at Dayton National Cemetery.
