John was the son of Neil Ware White Sr & Martha Louise (Johnson) White, Stewart. He was a graduate of Gulfport High School and received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi. He worked as an assistant cashier and operations manager at the Southern National Bank of Biloxi. He was a member of ST. Peter's By-the-Sea Episcopal Church; Biloxi Lions Club, American Institute of Banking, Biloxi Chamber of Commerce, Gulfport Yacht Club and Broadwater Country Club.
Survivors include his parents, his wife, one son, five brothers & three sisters. His funeral was held at St Peters By-the-Sea Episcopal Church with interment in Evergreen Cemetery following.
