Chuck Ellis passed away at his home Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the age of 72. He was born October 3, 1944 in Trenton, NJ to Charles and Doris Ellis. He married his wife Myrt Ellis on February 10, 1975. Chuck grew up on the beaches of Ventura until his family moved to Camarillo in 1960. He graduated from Camarillo H.S. in 1962, then went on to become a psychiatric technician at Camarillo State Hospital. He loved the beach, fishing, and music. He instilled his passion for guitar, piano, and singing onto his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Myrt Ellis, his brother Richard (Kathy) Ellis, and sister Lauri Lord, sons Doug Ellis and Cody (Melissa) Ellis and daughters Tracy McGuinness and April (Ryan) Webster, his 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral mass to be held Friday, March 24, at 10:00am at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 25 N Las Posas Rd, Camarillo. A rosary will precede the funeral mass. Burial to follow at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo.
