Thelma J. Gnau, 78, died Wednesday at Caritas Medical Center. She was the former Thelma Givens, a native of Wilson County, Tenn., ', former secretary for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp. and a member of South End Church of Christ. Survivors: a daughter, Beverly Gnau; sons Kevin and Phillip Gnau; a brother, E.C. Givens; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, O.D. White & Sons, 2727 S. Third St. Entombment: Evergreen. Visitation: 3-9 p.m. Friday.The Courier-Journal, 01 Mar 2001
