Wife of James Ellsworth Silvester. Daughter of Ruliff Schanck Hendrickson and Nettie Johnson Hendrickson.

Mrs. Ada Silvester, 71, of 35 Kossman St., Old Bridge, died yesterday in Perth Amboy General Hospital. Born in Freehold, daughter of the late Ruliff and Nettie Schneck, she lived most of her life here. Unill her retirement six years ago, she was employed as a machine operator for Decorated Metals in Milltown. She was a member of the Old Bridge Baptist Church and the ladies auxiliary of Crandall-Kossman Post 177 American Legion. She was the widow of James. Surviving are a son, John of Old Bridge; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Sylvester of Milllown and Mrs. Jeanette Benham of Old Bridge, a brother, Ruliff Hendrickson of New Brunswick; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Eckman Funeral Home, 475 Main St., Spotswood, with the Rev. Paul C. Kinzler officiating. Interment will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Old Bridge.
