Mr. Michael Scott Walder, 44 of Lenoir, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at Carolina’s Medical Center in Charlotte. Mr. Walder was born on September 25, 1974 in Burlington County, New Jersey to Thomas Robert and the late Jean Helena Fox. He worked at Paxar/Avery Dennison for 18 years. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Brandy Killingsworth Walder; son, Matthew Walder; brother, Thomas S. Walder; sister, Cheryl Muller; nephews, Thomas, Joseph, and Joshua; nieces, Amanda, Alexandria, Aurora, and Elisabeth; and many great nieces and nephews. A funeral service honoring the life of Mr. Walder will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Pendry’s Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
