William John Albert, 90, died April 7, 1995, at his residence. A native of Long Island City, N.Y., he was born Aug. 31, 1904, to Henry and Agnes Mitchell Albert, and had lived in Reno for the past 62 years. Albert was an accountant, a musician and was manager for City of Reno's sanitation department from 1941-1955. He was a member of Free and Accepted Masons, Kerak Temple, Exchange Club and Trinity Episcopal Church. Surviving is sister, Ruth Eaton of Port Orange, Fla. Visitation is scheduled from 1 until the 2 p.m. funeral Tuesday at Walton Funeral Home, Reno. Cremation will be at Mountain View Crematory. A memorial is being established with Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children, 4935 Energy Way, Reno 89502.
